Is the Beachbody coaching program a scam? What does a Beachbody coach do? Who needs one? Who should become one? What are some tips to making money and becoming a successful one? These are all questions I asked myself shortly after I started P90X and hearing about it. When it comes to asking about a Beachbody coach there are two types of people who should be asking these questions.

The first type of person is someone who has a Beachbody fitness program and is looking for someone to help support them with their program and achieve their weight loss and fitness goals. This was Beachbody’s primary purpose when they launched their coaching network. I relied on my coach to help me when I first went through P90X, and he helped me lose 25 pounds in 90 days and get down to 8% body fat. I have since helped many others with guidance support and motivation to help them meet their weight loss and fitness goals.

The second type of person who may be asking this question is someone who is thinking of becoming a coach because they either want to help others meet their fitness goals, like my coach did for me, or because of the potential to make a supplemental or full time income like many others are doing. My guess is most people who are reading this article are new to internet marketing or the network marketing industry, and are surfing the web to find out the legitimacy of this opportunity, and are concerned that coaching is over hyped, or worse, a pyramid scheme.

Let me first address the pyramid scheme concern. I can tell you it is not a pyramid scam. Beachbody sells many of the top selling, most successful and effective fitness and nutritional products in the marketplace today. Beachbody’s coaching opportunity is network marketing or MLM, and in all honesty a coach is an independent distributor, but I do not know of any other MLM company spending over $100 million each year on advertising. Whether you are someone who is considering becoming a coach or not, you most likely have noticed the cable networks constantly running Beachbody infomercials for P90X, Insanity, Slim-in-6, or Brazil Butt Lift. Plus, Beachbody takes customers who order from their advertising and places those customers in the business streams of coaches who achieve Emerald level status and higher so they can earn off these customers’ future orders. Like other network marketing companies or MLMs there is a pyramid structure, but then again so does every company. Most companies have a CEO, EVP, SVP, VP, AVP…you get the picture. If you want to take full advantage of the earning potential it is important to build a team underneath so you can earn volume bonuses, but if you are not comfortable doing that you can be quite successful by simply recommending Beachbody’s fitness programs and nutritional supplements to people looking to get in shape.

This is not a get rich quick scheme and do not fall for anyone promoting it like it is. You get out of it what you put in to it, and whether you want to grow your business part-time of full-time is up to you. Personally I have been using and teaching strategies and techniques which can be applied in both the offline and online worlds, and have plugged them into a system which can be used whether you want to focus on retailing or bringing in new coaches underneath you. It is called attraction marketing and it is all about getting people to you, not hard selling or pushing products or opportunities to your friends and family. It uses some of the most powerful and effective techniques and is the system being used by all the big players in the network marketing industry today. The good news is it is proven to bring in 10-20 customers a month, and the better news is very few people are practicing it.

The key thing to take away is this is a very legitimate opportunity and growing your business using the principles and simple concepts of attraction marketing is easy to do. The secret to growing your business is to provide value and information to those seeking it.

Become A Coach
